Every Scion runs Toyota engines, transmissions, and electronics with full parts availability and dealer-network support through Toyota. The badge retired; the service situation never changed.
tC/xB oil consumption years
The 2AZ-FE four in certain tC/xB years carries Toyota’s documented oil-consumption history. A measured consumption test tells you where yours stands — many were addressed under Toyota programs.
FR-S valve-spring and cam-torque history
The Subaru-built FR-S boxer has its own documented early-year items (valve springs recall era, cam bolt torque). We know the platform — it’s the same car as the BRZ/86 we service regularly.
Young-driver deferred maintenance
Scions were first cars — and first cars skip oil changes. Our inspection catches the deferred-maintenance tax early, and the Toyota bones forgive most of it once corrected.

My xB burns oil — normal?
It’s the documented 2AZ-FE pattern on certain years, and "normal" isn’t the standard — measured is. Our consumption test gives you the real number and the honest options, including whether any Toyota program history applies.
