Advertising & "sale/share"
Advertising cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft UET) share online identifiers with those partners so we can measure campaigns and show you relevant ads elsewhere. Because this can be considered a "sale" or "share" for targeted advertising under some state laws — even though no money changes hands and we never sell your information — turning off the Advertising category is treated as your opt-out.
